Sanctuary Village & Farm

In East Texas at a partner ministry we have a piece of land that is being developed with small homes for some of the most vulnerable in our partner ministries, but also we want to do our part in offering a place for some of the youth that will age out of the system without a family or community. The village will provide a safe, stable environment for parents, children, and young adults to come, learn practical life skills, experience healthy community living and be equipped with the tools necessary to go from surviving to thriving 

Part of the Sanctuary Village program is a farm that everyone in the village will have a part of, with a planned harvest a year we plan to raise and grow food that will take care of most of the food that the residents will eat, we will sale at least an equal amount to help raise money helping support the village efforts, and taking at least 10% to give back to the community

Its going to take the help of everyone who is willing, and here are a few things we need help with!

• We need knowledge from people who have experience raising chickens, rabbits, pigs, and fish. Aquaponic, aquaculture, square foot gardening, and dwarf tree maintenance
• We need land development, plumbing, electrical, and construction knowledge. Every piece of input will help us become more efficient. 
• It will take a couple of years for the farm to become profitable enough that the village will become self sufficient so we need monthly financial partners
