Market and outreach

Sanctuary Market is an outlet for everything that's created and grown in sanctuary village and on the farm. We want to be able to create space to have a positive integration into the local community, but we also want the village to become 100% self sufficient, making enough for the village to run, expand, and provide enough for the residents to make money and have a savings so when they're ready to depart from the village, they aren't leaving empty handed.

Every year over 1,000 youth age out of the foster care system with no family, no community, no support system. As we grow in the community, our village, farm, and outreach, we have a place for some of the youth to come, have a place to call home, a structured program that gives an opportunity to be a healthy active part of community, learn and practice practical life skills, build a savings, and have the opportunity to safely, and strategically transition into independent life, but also establish life long friendships and discipline.

For every person who participates and is an active part of the sanctuary community, we want to not only be active in our personal community but we want to give back to those who are in need. We want to give 10% of what we grow back to the community, feeding the homeless and giving to families in need.

Its going to take the help of everyone who is willing, and here are a few things we need help with!

• We need knowledge of people who run farmers markets and eventually when we open we need customers!
• For the internship program it will cost a minimum of $1,000 a month for each youth that we give an opportunity to and so we will need  monthly supporters for them to cover living expenses, and start a savings.
